KOUROS 2006 (Year 3): The Search for Gorgeous Filipino Men

If you know anyone who has the looks that make heads turn, the body that draws ooohs and aaahhs, and the personality that women… or even men… find irresistible, then ask him to join.

Qualifications: 18-25 years old, at least 5’7 in height, good looks and proportionate physique.

Screening of potential candidates will take place on October 15, 2006 (Sunday), 1 to 5 p.m., at Game Room 1 of the Quezon City Sports Club on E. Rodriguez Avenue (beside St. Joseph’s College, near St. Luke’s Hospital).

Please bring setcard or two (2) pictures (headshot/medium shot & full-body) and trunks. (If you have no trunks, we’ll lend you one.)

Finals will be on December 28, 2006 at the Metro Concert Bar.

The annual Kouros search is organized by RRM Publications, Talents & Events, publisher of Global Pinoy (a free newsletter for and about overseas Filipinos) and the same entity which organized the search for “Natatanging Ginoo’t Binibini ng Overseas Filipinos” at SM Megamall Cinema 4 last June 7 and organizer of next year’s “Mr. & Miss Global Filipino.”

Kouros trivia: Last year’s winner, Den Dimalibot, was among the 2006 Cosmo Hunks. 1st runner-up, Randolf Dungo, continues to be a top choice in various fashion shows including this year’s Bench Fever. 2nd runner-up, Ryan Forbes, had a good role in the digital film “Jupit.” 3rd runner-up, Alvin Asuncion, eventually joined another male pageant and won; he is Singapore-bound to represent the Philippines in the Mr. International pageant. He is also reportedly being introduced in a new film with screen name Ken Escudero. 4th runner-up, Serge Viray, who is an excellent dancer is often seen in ABS CBN shows. Kouros 2004’s 1st runner-up, Paolo Inocencio, joined and won Ginoong Marikudo 2006 which was held in Boracay.
